Young Fresh Fellows: "Rock & Roll Pest Control"

Este grupo de rock alternativo originario de Seattle (Washington), herederos del más genuino rock & roll y con claras composiciones pop-punk, comenzó su actividad a mediados de los 80, editando su primer albúm en 1984 bajo el título de "The Fabolous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest" (1984). Sus componentes iniciales fueron Scott McCaughey(guitarra), Chuck Carroll( bajo) y Tad Hutchinson (batería). De hecho, desde 1994, Scott es considerado el quinto miembro de R.E.M. por colaborar tanto en el escenario como en la producción musical de los de Athens.
Canciones como "Picture Book", "The little things", "Back room of bar", "Radioactive Chicken Hands", "Barkey's Spiritual Store", " Still there's hope" y la mejor para mí y para muchos "Rock & Roll pest control" me han hecho disfrutar enormemente. Su trayectoria, ha influenciado a otras bandas de rock alternativo como a los "Presidents of U.S.A.", "The Posies" ó "The Fastbacks", también surgidos en la ciudad de Seattle, núcleo principal del rock independiente norteamericano en la década de los 90.
